This is some stuff I found on 2002-03 (omg OLD stuff)
 I was surprised, there was many references between Gorillaz and the PPG  Gorillaz references on PPG: The first Gorillaz reference I noticed was a spike-haired punk (who has the Gorillaz look and the GORILLAZ word in his shirt) in talk show called Incorrect Politics with some others guests talking about the PPG in the TV news. Then I saw the movie again more carefully and I found a Gorillaz pic in Mojo’s newspaper. It says: “The Gorillaz met to the headline Townsville Music Fest” PPG references on Gorillaz: There is a pic where you can see 2-D with his long sleeved Mojo Jojo t-shirt  Mojo Jojo is Damon Albarn’s favorite cartoon character (I’ve read it from a scanned magazine) And finally, Noodle likes the PPG (or at least when she was ten)  If you don’t like the PPG it’s okay, The main thing is the Gorillaz references in it. lol it's so crazy I even made a pic! ---> [link] Well, that’s all.
